LIVING IN ATLANTA | THE HOT SEAT
"GuiIding is an old technique you don't see around a whole lot," offers Utah-based furniture designer Gabriel Dean Anderson of his chic collection Gabriel Dean Design. The contemporary line showcases modern shapes and cantilevered coffee tables in precisely polished woods and stone punctuated by inlaid flashes of gold. "When I wanted to learn how to guild, I found myself reading a 180-year-old book," Anderson explains. "Often, I use techniques like that to create a contemporary, modern piece of furniture. I think it gives a nice juxtaposition that's very unique and fresh." We think the luxe line is sure to be a new gold standard.
